Save the English Housing Survey

The English Housing Survey is a data set that provides the best information on housing that we have in this country. It is vital for measuring fuel poverty, developing policy in the private rented sector and helping charities and campaign groups show what needs to change in housing. It is a tremendous resource and there is nothing else like it in the world. But the government is now proposing cuts to the survey.

The Department for Communities and Local Government are currently consulting on cost-savings to the English Housing Survey. Suggestions include holding it every two years instead of annually or pausing it. But we need it to remain in its current form. Please take the time to ask your MP to support renters and the housing sector by calling for no cuts to the English Housing Survey.
