Tell your MP to Get Renting Done
According to a Times report on 11 October, the Prime Minister is planning to "shelve" plans to end no-fault evictions, which were due to be introduced in this Parliamentary session.
The next day, Liz Truss was asked in Parliament if she could assure tenants that she would keep the promise she was elected on. She said "I can."
But what we still don't know is when that will happen - or how. Overhauling evictions is just one part of a package announced in June to improve renters' right and regulate landlords better. We need a Renters Reform Bill to make that a reality.
Renters need our MPs to keep the pressure on the Prime Minister to carry out the full reforms.
